The New Hire Orientation program is sponsored by the Division of Human Resources for all new faculty and staff members. In this session, you will include:

Learn more about Kent State University culture, strategic plan, and policies; participate in engaging discussion around ethics in the workplace and preventing harassment.

How to get started as a new employee

AFSCME-Benefits discussion (AFSCME covered employees only) from 11:30 - 11:45 a.m.

Break for lunch (Buffet compliments of Human Resources at the Schwebel Garden Room) 11:45 - 1 p.m.

Learn how your uniqueness contributes to diversity

Identify other resources and programs available to all employees

Communication and connecting in the university environment

Benefits overview and enrollment from 2:30 - 4 p.m. (Optional if previously attended and intended for full time employees)
