Traditional economic development has focused on job creation as the primary means of retaining and attracting residents to your community. However, the old model of "people follow jobs" is not the only philosophy being pursued today by communities.

May's Profiles of Ashtabula County Breakfast topic will focus on the rise of the "Experience Economy" which places a greater emphasis on developing districts and assets in your community to tell the story of what makes your community unique, create a sense of place and develop a quality of life to attract people to your community.
