Women and the Civil Rights Movement

Event Description
This event will feature the perspectives of three prominent female KSU Civil Rights Scholars on the history and effect of influential, as well as ordinary community minded women on the structuring and ultimate development of the civil rights movement in America.  A behind the scenes look at the many roles women played in the operations of national and regional civil rights organizations will be discussed in terms of women's ultimate impact on the successes of this historic movement.
